We respect your right for online privacy, and we take that responsibility very seriously and acknowledge the importance of protecting the data collected from you or about you when visiting and using the Deceta App (“APP”, “Deceta”); therefore, we strive to be transparent in processing your data, and work hard to keep your data secure.
1.2. Please take your time to read this policy (“Deceta Policy”), which describes how we collect your personal data, how we use, share and retain such data, and your legal rights and obligation.
1.3. You acknowledge that your continued use of Deceta services after publishing or sending a notice about our changes to this policy means that the collection, use and sharing of the data is subject to the updated privacy policy as of its effective date. If you do not agree to all the terms of this policy, then you may not use of Deceta services.
2) THE ACCEPTING OF POLICY
By accepting this policy, you expressly consent to:
2.1. Collection, use, and share data – where applicable – in accordance with this policy.
2.2. Permission for us to contact you with information about services, which may be of interest to you (unless you have stated you do not wish to receive these communications).
2.3. Agreeing to any future changes to our privacy policy "will never deviate from our overall philosophy of protecting your privacy".
3) SCOPE OF POLICY
3.1. DECETA L.L.C (Hereafter referred to as “We”, “Us”, “Our”), is the operator, controller and responsible of the website Deceta App and privacy policy (“Deceta policy”) is a registered under CR number (14545).
3.2. This policy covers how we collect and use your data, e.g., when you:
3.2.1. Visit or use the application.
3.2.2. Use our services or application.
3.2.3. Subscribe to the newsletters or other marketing communications.
3.2.4. Contact our customer support.
3.3. This policy is applicable to Deceta App, all services, pages and other activities that are offered by us on or through the application, and shall not applicable to other websites or links to which we link, and specifically addresses our obligations in respect of applicable laws in the EGYPT.
4) GENERAL PRINCIPLES OF COLLECTION OF DATA
To the extent applicable by law, when we collect the data, we will:
4.1. Providing notice to you through the application about our practices.
4.2. Collecting your personal data only for specified and legitimate purposes.
4.3. Processing your personal data in a manner consistent with the purposes for which it was collected or to which you consented.
4.4. Take appropriate measures to provide adequate protection for personal data that is disclosed to third parties.
5) COLLECTION OF DATA
5.1. We collect different data, such as in the following cases:
5.1.1. Data you provide to us directly
5.1.1.1. Personal identification data: such as name, surname, and date of birth.
5.1.1.2. Contact data: such as email, phone number, address.
5.1.1.3. Account log in data: such as log in ID, password or other security codes.
5.1.1.4. Financial data: such as credit card data, bank account data.
5.1.1.5. Any other data that you decide to voluntarily share with the Deceta.
5.1.2. Data we collect automatically
5.1.2.1. Technical Data: includes; the internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your device to the internet, internet service provider, referral/exit pages, device ID, ad ID, and operating system, types of add-ons, number of clicks, date and time.
5.1.2.2. Device Data: such as your device type, screen resolution, operating system name and version, device manufacturer and model, language, and the name and version of the services you are using.
5.1.2.3. Log Data: such as time, duration and manner of use of the services.
5.1.2.4. Location Data: We may collect the data by certain application features that identify your physical location, such as your device’s GPS signal or information about nearby Wi-Fi access points and cell towers that may be transmitted to us when you use certain services and enable the location function. You can change the privacy settings of your device to turn off the functionality to share your location information.
5.1.3. Data we collect by other sources
We may receive personal data about you or aggregated technical data from external services providers contracted by DECETA L.L.C to host or maintain certain sections of this application, and we may receive the data that is shared by advertisers, developers, publishers, affiliate partners and other third parties, or social media pages and platforms, for example, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and other.
5.2. The personal data we collect about you depends on the particular activities carried out through the use of our services. If you submit any data related to other people to us or to our service providers, partners and/or associates in connection with the services, you represent that you have the authority to do so and permit us to use the data in accordance with this policy.
6) USE OF DATA
DECETA L.L.C uses your personal data for a variety of purposes described below:
6.1. To provide you with the services that you request from us and enable you to use them.
6.2. To send you an email confirming your registration on Deceta.
6.3. To identify you when you use Deceta and provide you with a tailored user experience.
6.4. To send you newsletters if you have signed up to receive them.
6.5. To send you important information regarding the services, changes to this policy and/or other similar administrative information.
6.6. To provide support and maintenance of the application and services.
6.7. To inform you about our new services.
6.8. To protect your identity and financial information, and provide you with the best protection from credit card fraud.
6.9. To improve the application and make your experience on it more pleasant.
6.10. To customize your experience and continue to improve it.
6.11. To comply with our legal and regulatory obligations, and enforce the terms and conditions and otherwise protect our rights and the rights of our users.
6.12. To other purposes, whether statistical or analytical, and to help us prevent fraud.
6.13. Any other use after obtaining your consent for purposes other than those you have previously agreed to.
7) SHARE OF DATA
7.1. we do not sell, trade or rent users' personal identity data to third parties, and we may share the data with third parties to provide the services as follows:
7.1.1. You may let us share personal data with others for their own marketing uses. Those uses will be subject to their privacy policies.
7.1.2. We may share data to comply with laws and respond to lawful requests and legal processes.
7.1.3. We may share data to protect our rights and property, our agents, customers, and others. This includes enforcing our agreements, policies, and terms of use.
7.1.4. We may share data to protect you, our employees and agents or our customers for suspected fraud, or any situations involving potential threats to the safety of any person and illegal activities.
7.1.5. We may share personal data when we do a business deal or negotiate a business deal, such as merger, acquisitions, reorganization, asset sale, joint venture, assignment, transfer or any similar disposition of all or any portion of our business or assets.
7.2. You grant us the right to allow our employees and service providers to deal with your personal data within the limits of providing the services. Please note that any third parties’ use of your personal data will be governed by their own privacy policies. We recommend you carefully review privacy policies to the third parties.
8)RETENTION PERIOD OF DATA
8.1. DECETA L.L.C retains your data for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it has been collected, and will retain your personal information associated with your account in electronic records for as long as you remain a user of the Deceta services, for internal analysis purposes, to strengthen the security or improve the functionality of our service and enforce our legal policies.
8.2. Please keep in mind that in certain cases a longer retention period may be required or permitted by law. The criteria used to determine our retention periods include:
8.2.1. How long is the data needed to provide you with our products or services or to operate our business?
8.2.2.Do you have an account with us? In this case, we will keep your data while your account is active or for as long as needed to provide the services to you.
8.2.3. Are we subject to a legal, contractual, or similar obligation to retain your data? Examples can include mandatory data retention laws in the applicable jurisdiction, government orders to preserve data relevant to an investigation or data that must be retained for the purposes of litigation, or protection against a possible claim.
9) PROTECTION OF DATA
9.1. The security of your data is important to us, so we seek to preserve all user data and not be viewed by any person in contrary to our policy in force. We also work to protect this data through "designated servers" protected by electronic protection systems.
9.2. We will take appropriate measures that are consistent with applicable data protection and data security laws and regulations, including requiring our service providers to use appropriate measures to protect the confidentiality and security of your data. Unfortunately, no data transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.
9.3. We put in place technical and organizational measures to prevent risks such as destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure of, or access to your data. If you have reason to think that your interaction with us or your data is no longer processed in a secure manner, please reach out to the Deceta administration immediately.
10) SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS
We may interact with registered users of various social media platforms, including Facebook and Instagram. Please note that any content you post to such platforms (e.g., pictures, information or opinions), as well as any personal information that you otherwise make available to users (e.g., your profile), is subject to the applicable social media platform's terms of use and privacy policies. We recommend that you review this information carefully in order to better understand your rights and obligations with regard to such content.
11) MOBILE APPLICATION NOTIFICATIONS
We may occasionally send you push notifications through the application. You may, at any time, opt out from receiving these types of communications by changing the settings on your mobile device, and with your consent we may also collect precise location information if you use the application. You may opt out of this collection by changing the settings on your mobile device.
12) THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES
12.1. The Service may contain features or links to websites and services provided by third parties. Any personal data you provide on third-party sites or services is provided directly to the operators of such services and is subject to those operators’ policies, if any, governing privacy and security, even if accessed through Deceta App. We are not responsible for the practices, policies, privacy, security or services of third-party sites to which accessed through the service. We recommend you to review the privacy policy posted on these websites to learn their procedures and policies before providing them with personal data.
12.2. In addition, we are not responsible for the data collection, use, disclosure, or security policies or practices of other platforms, such as Twitter, Instagram or any social media platform provider, operating system provider, wireless service provider or device manufacturer, we recommend that you review the privacy policies of these organizations and websites carefully in order to better understand your rights and obligations.
13) PAYMENTS
We will not store your payment card details, but that information is provided directly to our third-party payment processors whose use of your personal information is governed by their Privacy Policy. These payment processors adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa and MasterCard. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of payment information.
14) YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
14.1. You are responsible to ensure that the data you provide us are accurate, complete and up-to-date.
14.2. If you share with us data of other people, you are responsible for collecting the data in compliance with local legal requirements, for example, you should inform such other people whose data you provide to us about the content of this policy and obtain their prior consent.
15) MANAGE YOUR PRIVACY
15.1. You have a great role in protecting your personal data, and you can do the following:
15.1.1. Control or modify your data through your account at Deceta App.
15.1.2. Not to disclose your account data to anyone else.
15.1.3. Log out always at the end of your session, especially if you are using someone else's device or in public internet places.
15.2. DECETA L.L.C shall not be responsible for your failure to keep the confidentiality of your data.
16) YOUR CHOICES
You may have certain choices in relation to your personal information, such as:
16.1. Opt out of Non-Essential Electronic Communications: You may opt out of receiving newsletters and other non-essential messages by using the “unsubscribe” function included in all such messages. However, you will continue to receive notices and essential transactional emails.
16.2. Optional Information: You can choose not to provide optional profile information such as your photo. You can also delete or change your optional profile information. You can always choose not to fill in non-mandatory fields when you submit any form linked to Deceta App.
17)MODIFICATIONS AND CHANGES
17.1. DECETA L.L.C reserves the right to make changes or updates to this policy at any time, and if we make material changes to this policy, we will post the changes on this page and update the effective date.
17.2. All changes are effective immediately upon posting on this page, and your use of the services after posting of an updated privacy policy shall constitute your consent to all changes.
17.3. We encourage all users to review the Deceta App privacy policy regularly for any changes to it so that they are aware of what we are doing to protect the personal data we collect
18) APPROVAL OF THE POLICY
18.1. By using the Deceta services, you agree with our privacy policy, controls and conditions governing the use of this application. If you do not agree with this policy, you should not use our services.
18.2. You admit that your continued use of the services after the announcement of changes to this policy or to the rules and conditions of use of the services will be deemed to be your consent to these changes.
